Like anything practice makes perfect. Consistent repetitions will make whatever you do into muscle memory. That muscle memory makes your task simpler, you have now become more efficient. This is just a fancy way of me saying I didn’t see any trade set-ups yesterday or today.

With my trading style I do miss out on some big moves of the hot stock at the time; but I’d rather produce constant base hits than hit dingers every once in awhile. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good dinger, but to continue the baseball analogy; I want to the Ted Williams.

Yesterday was a let the market play out kind of day (looks like today will be too). While the market did what I did, I decided to change up the Redline Monocog from a drop-bar mountain bike to a flat bar with some good back sweep. Riding technical up hills and downhills with drops was quite the experience. It’s doable, but wasn’t the most enjoyable (for me). The backsweep bars I’m using makes the Monocog into a lazy cruiser that can boogie.

Off days from the market also serve as a reminder that I really just want to ride my bike. I’ve been working in a bike shop going on eight years now. It definitely helps with keeping the cost of the lifestyle and hobby down. As I sit here now in contempt for writing I think about riding my bike. I should’ve woken up earlier… that’s on me. I need to practice writing, it’s part of this project.

The project, the project. I have so many projects that I want to do in this life time. This project; professional trading so I can focus on riding. Learning how to program Python, diving deep into crypto and Web3. Making the perfect cup of coffee from all the ways I have available (drip, french press, aeropress, percolator, Turkish pot). Real estate. Yeah, life is interesting to say the least.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the energy sector (GTE, SNMP, BORR, USWS) in the penny stock world. RSI is in that middle zone, so I’ll sit back and watch. I’m done with my coffee, it’s a gorgeous morning, yeah… time to ride.
